I searched around the internet and was annoyed to not find this information. So, below are the abbreviations for player ratings as they appear on Madden Ultimate Team player and coach cards.
(OVR) Overall – The overall rating for the player.
(SPD) Speed – How fast the player can run.
(ACC) Acceleration – How fast a player reaches full speed.
(STR) Strength – The player’s strength, which affects his ability to break tackles.
(AGI) Agility – The player’s agility, enhancing his ability to switch directions.
(AWR) Awareness – A player’s ability to react and adjust.
(CTCH) Catching – How well the player can catch. A higher rating means fewer drops.
(CARY) Carrying – How well the player holds onto the football. A higher rating means the less chance of a fumble.
(TPOW) Throw Power – How far a player can throw the ball.
(TSHT) Short Throwing Accuracy
(TMID) Medium Throwing Accuracy
(TDEP) Deep Throwing Accuracy
(KPOW) Kick Power – A kicker’s power.
(KACC) Kick Accuracy – A kicker’s accuracy..
(TCKL) Tackle – A player’s ability to tackle.
(INJ) Injury – The likelihood of an injury.
(TRCK) Trucking – Player’s ability to run over a defender attempting a tackle.
(BCV) Ball Carrier Vision – Ability to spot the open field.
(IMPB) Impact Blocking – Blockers ability to make a leveling.
(RBST) Run block strength.
(RBFT) Run block footwork.
(PBST) Pass block strength.
(PBFT) Pass block footwork.
(PMOV) Power Moves – The strength of the player’s power moves.
(FMOV) Finesse Moves – Similar to power moves but it’s the ability to spin or swim around blocks.
(BSHD) Block Shedding – How well the player can shed a block.
(PUR) Pursuit – Skill in finding and pursuing the ball carrier–likely laterally.
(PREC) Play Recognition.
(MCOV) Man Coverage – Skill of the defender in man coverage.
(ZCOV) Zone Coverage – Skill of the defender in zone coverage.
(SCAT) Spectacular Catch – A player’s ability to make a spectacular catch.
(CINT) Catch in Traffic – How well the player can catch the ball and maintain possession in tight coverage.
(RRUN) Route Running Rating – How well the player runs the play’s passing route.
(HP) Hit Power – The strength of the player’s hit, which can determine the success of a tackle or the possibility of a fumble.
(PRES) Press Rating – Ability of defender in press coverage.
(RLS) Release Rating – Ability of receiver to release from press coverage.
(MOT) Motivation – How much a coach motivates his team.
(KNO) Knowledge – The coach’s knowledge of the game.
(OFF) Offense – The coach’s offensive play calling ability.
(DEF) Defense – The coach’s defensive play calling ability.
(WOR) Work Ethic – The coach’s work ethic.
(CHM) Chemistry – The coach’s impact on team chemistry.
